Training and engagement

Teach for MMAKF.

The federation assigns instructors to school, corporate and community programmes across its network, and to its own centres. Applications are screened, interviewed and technically reviewed before anybody teaches.

What the stages are

Each is recorded, and they cannot be skipped — an approval means the screening, the interview and the technical review actually happened. MMAKF has published no timescale for the process, so this page does not state one.

  1. Application

    You send this form. MMAKF acknowledges it with a reference.

  2. Screening

    The coach manager reads it — your grade, your experience, your references.

  3. Interview

    A conversation about how and what you teach.

  4. Technical review

    Your karate is assessed by the federation’s technical authority.

  5. Document verification

    Grade certificates, identity, and any coaching or safeguarding qualifications.

  6. Approval and onboarding

    A coach profile is created, and you appear in the assignment pool.

Safeguarding

Much of the federation’s work is with children. A coach whose child-protection clearance is not on the federation’s record, or has lapsed, is excluded automatically from any programme involving minors — not warned about, excluded. If you hold a clearance, say so below; if you do not, apply anyway and MMAKF will tell you what is needed.
