MMAKF was founded in 1983 by Shihan Pramod Kumar Pathak, direct inheritor of the Jr. Tiger Lee Shotokan lineage in India. What began as a single training hall in Patratu grew into an institutional federation — at its peak running structured karate programs across more than 130 schools, with thousands of students each quarter.
The federation has produced national champions, WKF-registered athletes and coaches, 34 active black belts, and record-book recognition — while never departing from its core: authentic Shotokan Karate-Do, transmitted the traditional way, one grading at a time.
Today MMAKF trains students in the hombu dojo, through partner schools, and worldwide through its Online University — the same syllabus, the same standard, everywhere.
