Train with MMAKF.
From one student to an institution training hundreds, the federation delivers structured Shotokan through a national network of affiliated dojos and its own instructors.
MMAKF is a national federation, not a dojo with a price list. The same syllabus, the same Dan-graded faculty and the same examination standard reach a child in a Patratu school, an athlete on the competitive pathway, and four hundred students across a university campus.
What differs is scale, place and purpose — which is exactly what determines the fee.
The federation trains at every scale.
-
Schools
Karate as part of the school week — physical education, self-defence, or a full co-curricular programme across every campus.
Delivered on-site by federation instructors, against the MMAKF syllabus, with assessment and certification where the school wants them. Programmes are built around the school year rather than sold by the month.
-
Corporates
Employee wellbeing, self-defence and women's safety training, delivered at your offices or ours.
Sessions are built to the organisation's shift patterns and locations. MMAKF makes no medical or psychological claim about outcomes — it teaches martial arts, well, to adults who mostly have not done it before.
-
Universities & colleges
Student training, sports clubs, competition entry, and coach and referee education.
Institutions can affiliate a campus club into the federation structure, enter athletes into sanctioned competition, and put staff through technical and officiating courses.
-
Government & public bodies
Institutional programmes for departments, public sports bodies and community initiatives.
MMAKF responds to institutional enquiries and procurement processes. The federation claims no existing government partnership; each engagement stands on its own.
-
Communities & clubs
Workshops, camps and self-defence programmes for residential communities, NGOs and clubs.
Often the shortest route into training for people who would never walk into a dojo — which is exactly why the federation runs them.
-
Individuals & families
Train at an affiliated dojo, online, or one-to-one with a federation coach.
Children, adults, beginners and graded karateka train on the same syllabus. Personal coaching is a service MMAKF offers — it is not what MMAKF is.
One federation. One fee framework.
MMAKF does not publish a list of monthly prices, because the same question has different answers for a family of two and a school of four hundred. The applicable fee is determined by your own circumstances.
What the framework considers
- who is training, and how many
- where — and whether MMAKF travels to you
- how often, and for how long
- dojo, on-site, online or hybrid
- instructors and facilities required
- assessment, grading and certification
- competition support, where wanted
The system that will calculate it is built — versioned, and able to show exactly which rule produced every line of a quotation — and it is deliberately empty until MMAKF sets its own rules. No figure is shown here because inventing one would be worse than showing none.
Until then every enquiry is answered with a quotation prepared by the federation office against what you actually need.

Kihon, kata, kumite, self-defence and the competitive pathway are parts of one system. A programme is assembled from them to suit who is training — they are not nine products with nine prices.
